Garage sale BSRC event

Today I just want to share about what I have been doing last weekend! It is a BSRC (Brunei Shell Recreation Club) event where the public can join to sell all their second hand stuffs for the weekend. I quickly sign up my name a month before this event and it costs me BND $30 for renting one table for 2 days. 

My sisters and I are attending this event together, selling all our stuffs that we don't need and hence, profits will be shared equally to 3 of us. Items from Toys to Clothing to Accessories to Stationery and much much more. We eventually accumulate what we want to sell in one place and realized that we do have a lot of stuffs we don't necessary need. That's what girls do I guess, we always keep stuffs we dont need (HEHE). That is why we always participate for garage sale event to sell off our never-ending stuffs while earning some extra cash over the weekend!

The day before the event, I came early so I can get the best location to display and set the table together with my sister which is just standing beside there.

 The event started from 8am to 5pm so we have to be there by 7am to carry our belongings and display them. Right when we are half day in displaying, there are already customers coming to our booth and start picking up things that they are interested. That was a good start ahead!! 

You can see there's already so much and it covered the whole table but underneath the table, we have more stocks again that we don't have space to display anymore.

Honestly, I can see that our booth has the most items and had the most stuffs on the table. But things always don't go what we've already planned. Items that we priced are literally down to half of its price once it gets sold out to customers who urged for discounts. We still take it because keeping in our houses will just be a waste of space so might as well sell it cheap than keeping it.

Apologize for the bad picture quality but it is obvious to see the toys went out really fast after 2 days of the sale. We were pretty exhausted after the day, packing them back to our house and store them in our store room. But we are grateful of how much we have earned. The profits at the end of the day will be divided amount 3 of us.

I am so glad of what I have earned because that will go towards my new camera (Sony a5100) that I am going to purchase this weekend! Before this event started, I have already sold my old HTC phone and some of my dresses to my friends. Total up together will cover over 35% of the costs! 

Can't wait to get a good camera so I can post good pictures from them!
