It's finally March and I really hope Spring will come soon but unfortunately, it just snowed here in Manchester today. This month will be a busy month as I am starting my studies and meeting new lovely people. I feel so blessed sometimes :)
Few days back, I have done a bit of damage on my wallet shopping in Boots and Feelunique so today, I'm going to share what I've got! :)
Boots recently got a triple points event and I went all out for those products which are under 3 for 2 promotion. It's no harm to stock them up just incase my current ones run out! I also got a coupon voucher code in feelunique to spend so I only bought one thing or should I say its 1 for 2? Stick around and you'll know what I got :)
Garnier Cleansing Micellar Water 400ml
I have seen this cleansing water everywhere in magazines saying that it is very effective in removing makeup. I haven't tried Bioderma yet but some Youtubers recommend Garnier Cleansing water as a substitute. Taking chance of the promotion, I thought I would give this product a try!
It claims to remove make-up, cleanses and soothes with no need for rubbing or rinsing. Honestly, the reason why I pick it up is hope it can remove my waterproof eye makeup. It doesn't do the job unfortunately but it removes my foundation very well. I reckon Bioderma would be better since I heard many reviews that it removes makeup like a dream!
Boots 2 in 1 nail polish remover
Haven't got the time to do my nails since I have moved here, so I need to prep myself buy buying a nail polish remover! I love doing nail arts even though it takes me hours of patience but I think the idea of spending hours onto something that will lasts for at least a week, is great!
This particular remover contains pro-vitamin B5 to help strengthen and condition nails. I think there's no need to buy higher end nail polish remover, but instead invest in a better quality top coat nail polish which helps your nail polish to stay longer.
Boots Extracts Luscious Vanilla Body Scrub 400ml
I love anything that is vanilla scented, love the sweet scent of it. Once I open then jar, it smells like heaven! Picked that up as well without any hesitation.
First impression on this is that the scrub is quite watery and I found out that after use, the vanilla scent doesn't smell as strong as it is on the tub. However, it still makes my skin soft and moisturised!
Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser Firming Q10 250ml
This is my first time trying any in-shower body moisturiser and I have heard good reviews about the dry skin version of it. I got the firming version instead since its nice to have your skin firm while moisturises! I really love this product so far because its really convenient compare to the Vaseline Cocoa Spray & Go which featured in my February Favourites. It doesn't have the scent as good as the Vaseline ones but I wouldn't mine it.
Aussie Shower Gel Mega Watt 400ml
A new released shower gel from Aussie, a popular brand for its amazing scents on shampoo & conditioners! I've used their product in the past before and is quite excited to use their new line on shower gel. They have 4 different scent on the line and the one I got smells AMAZING! Can't describe the scent very well but do give it a try when you saw them in stores. All of them smells amazing in my opinion!
Collection Work The Colour Eyeshadow Pencil (Sky Vanilla)
Saw StyleSuzi Video on minimal makeup and when I saw what she uses for her inner corner, I knew I need to buy this. I love this eyeshadow pencil which is very nice highlighting the inner corner. So excited to use this eyeshadow!!
A cream eyeshadow colour with nice shimmers that are really hard to remove after apply. It seriously did not budge when I keep rubbing it.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish (Red Eye)
I have never tried Gel nail polish before (I am quite behind in the nail department now, but I'm trying to catch up!) but I will never doubt Sally Hansen's product. They do the best cuticle care and nail polish in my opinion. Though I love OPI too but I think Sally Hansen is definitely more to the professional side!
The colour I got is call Red Eye which is the perfect red (Yes, its perfect!). Its not a bright red, not a dark red but the perfect shade that I love! Just one coat of it is enough and I really love the brush application. It is expensive but totally worth it!
Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Cuticle Pen
My hands got really dry during these winter season and even though my hand cream helps to moisturise my hands, my nails are not. This cuticle pen does the job in one application on my nail cuticles and it instantly moisturise my rough cuticles.
Before going to the checkout counter, I spotted Marie Claire Magazine that comes with a free Nails Inc nail polish. I took it right off the shelf because it was the only one with this nude-y pink shade nail polish while the rest are like gray-ish and not very attractive colour.
The nail polish is call Fizz which is exclusively to Marie Claire only if I am not wrong. Nails Inc nail polishes alone costs £12 and you can get one free by buying Marie Claire magazine for only £4.00. What a steal!
TIGI Bed Head Hair Care Colour Goddess Tween Set - Shampoo & Conditioner 750ml
Last but not least, a brave purchase of TIGI Bed head product from FeelUnique.com! I've heard this product from Zoella 2014 favourites product video and agreed how she said that it smells like toffee caramel heaven.
The shampoo contains pro-vitamin B5 and essential nutrient vitamin E, cares for coloured hair and is infused with sweet almond oil, coconut oil and keratin (hair's key protein). Oil defence for electrifying colour.
The conditioner on the other hand, also infused with sweet almond oil, deposits a micro-layer of water repelling agents on the hair, without feeling heavy. It also contains shea butter, vitamin E and keratin that smooth down the hair ends.
I am always nervous trying new product on my hair, especially this is a big bottle than could lasts me for ages. I do read reviews that they are good and plus I've got a coupon code. I will give it a try and report back!
Thanks for reading! xx
