Casual Date Makeup ♡

Today, I'm gonna share a really simple makeup that I did when I was going out on a date with my boyfriend. I will list down all the products I used to create this look!

I'm all about the BASE:

ALWAYS start your makeup with a primer as it creates a barrier between your skincare and your makeup. 

KATE Brightening Makeup Base for Cover (SPF23) 

This product is great for those looking for dewy glowing look. This primer helps to even your skin tone, blur out your pores and brighten up your skin. It only comes in one color but don't worry, it turns transparent once you blend them, leaving a glow-y looking skin.

I love using my Real Techniques Stippling brush to apply them on my face.

FOUNDATION/BB Cream:

Innisfree Water Glow Cushion #23 True Beige

Innisfree is one of my favourite korean brands as they mostly use natural ingredients in their products. I was actually running out of this BB Cushion and trying hard to get every bit of the BB cream in that cushion on my face that day. However, it failed to cover my hyper pigmentation which you can see on my cheeks.

Innisfree do very few shades in their BB cushion, I was actually using their darkest shade available. It gives me a fresh looking skin after applied which I love. If you have dry skin, you can try this affordable BB cushion or they also do Long Wear cushion for oily/combination skin.

I used my ZOEVA #102 Silk Finish brush to apply instead of the cushion that comes with the product.

POWDER:

RIMMEL London Stay Matte Pressed Powder #001 Translucent

Favourite powder of all times! I've hit pan on a powder for the first time and got my friend to purchase another one for me in the UK. Sadly, they don't have Rimmel in my country. So I have to use my second one sparingly, I don't need much anyway since I don't have very oily skin. This product is really hyped in the Beauty world and it is really worth the hype! Really recommend this one if you're looking for a good, inexpensive powder.

I used my ZOEVA #106 Powder brush to apply them all over my face.

BRONZER:

The Balm Bahama Mama

This matte bronzer creates the look of beautifully tanned skin without any orange undertones. I don't like to have shimmers on my bronzer as it will highlight my round face. You can also apply this as an eyeshadow as well! I can't live without it basically, I used my Real Techniques contour brush and draw a number "3" on the sides of my face.

BLUSHER:

The Balm Hot Mama

A decent dupe for the NARS blush in orgasm. It has pinky-peach color with a hint of gold shimmer once you applied. For some reason, you might not be able to see it on the images above. I probably applied too sparingly on that day. I used my Zoeva #127 Luxe Sheer Cheek to apply them on my cheek.

HIGHLIGHTER:

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer

I love The Balm Cosmetics because they do products with multipurpose use! This highlighter can also be used as a shimmer on your eyes. I pat this highlighter on the highest point of my face to add a subtle glow.

EYEBROWS:

THEFACESHOP Design my Eyebrow #4 Brown

Nothing interesting about my eyebrows, I always struggle with them. What I like about this eyebrow pencil is you can twist to reveal the angled brow pencil on one side and a spoolie on another to brush away harsh lines for natural look.

EYES:

I have small asian monolid eyes to start with so I need to create an illusion that i have double eyelid.

MaxFactor Masterpiece Colour Precision Eye Shadow  #5 Pearl Beige

I did not have eye primer at the moment so I used this to prime my eye. This product is creamy and shimmery, perfect for all over eye base in my opinion to lift up your tired eyes! I could just use this product as an eyeshadow on my eyes for everyday makeup look.

ZOEVA Love is a story Palette 

I have reviewed this palette here and I have been using ZOEVA #237 Luxe Soft Definer to apply "Little Kiss" on the center of my eye lids. Then, using ZOEVA #227 Luxe Petit Crease "Man with a plan" on my outer V and back to #237 on "Over You" to blend them both together so there is no harsh lines.

SHU UEMURA Eyelash Curler

The best eyelash curler I've ever used so far! It is really important to invest a good eyelash curler! If you have super short lashes like me, do use your hair dryer on the eyelash curler on maximum heat for few seconds. Make sure it is not too hot, then curl your eyelashes. You will notice a huge difference!

LIPS:

PeriPera Tint's Milk #1 Pink

I really been obsessed with this pink tint. It really has been my all-time favourite and I have repurchased this for 4-5 times now! Super loving this tint as it brightens my whole face instantly and also stays on for hours!

I don't realize I've used so much product just for this look. #girlproblems
